Revolue (Marcus Vinicius D’ Andrea Coelho, b. 1987) grew up in the middle of inks, papers, pens and many scribbles on his house walls. Adept of a minimalist lifestyle, the artist carries more than 10 years of experience in research and artistic development.
From urban art to contemporary studies, looking for not settling on one style, Revolue prefers to keep open to the experiment. He references the concept of “luxury from the rubbish” to add to his remarks, which also involve the chaotic human behavior.
Part of his “intuitive – expressive” creative process is reaching the image of a face. For Revolue, everything is represented in our face – It’s the only thing that shows our personality, experiences and true feelings.
In 2010, Revolue lived in an arena design in London, where he had a house next to a studio together with over 40 artists. This process served as an experience for his creative and collaborative development.
From 2014 – 2016, Revolue was represented by Luis Maluf Art Gallery, where he also participated actively in the art direction of the gallery, expanding his knowledge at work alongside other artists.
Revolue has already had his works exhibited in major cities of contemporary art such as New York, Amsterdam, Korea, Melbourne, Lisbon, Sao Paulo and Paris.
